FIGURE DRAWING AND PAINTING, THURSDAY MORNINGS 9-12

Starts June 4TH, 2026. 10 week session $475 (includes model fee)

Students will draw and paint from the nude and draped model. Poses will range from short “gestures” to multi-session long poses for extended study. The instructor will lecture on anatomy and demonstrate "seeing" techniques and painting methods. The emphasis will be on presenting the figure as one continuous form, solid in construction, revealed by light, emotionally expressive and thoughtfully designed. The instructor will draw and paint alongside students in an ongoing demonstration of these concepts.
